The Church of San Martin is the main religious temple of Purullena. Built in the 16th century, this church combines Mudejar and Renaissance elements, characteristic of Andalusian religious architecture of the time. Its structure stands out for a robust bell tower and a simple but harmonious whitewashed facade.
Inside, it houses images of great local devotion, such as the patron Saint Martin of Tours or the Virgin of the Rosary, and the main religious festivities of the municipality are celebrated, such as Holy Week and the patron saint festivities in November.
