The Natural Area and Zoological Nucleus of Purullena is a space dedicated to conservation, environmental education and enjoyment of nature in a semi-desert environment typical of the highlands of Granada. This park houses a varied collection of animals, both native and exotic, in facilities integrated into the badlands landscape that surrounds the municipality.
The zoo offers outdoor tours where you can observe species such as deer, mountain goats, birds of prey, reptiles and other animals rescued or in the process of recovery. Its focus is on respect for animal welfare and environmental awareness, making it an ideal place for family and school visits.
In addition to the zoo, the area has picnic areas, natural viewpoints and trails that allow visitors to enjoy the scenic surroundings in a peaceful and educational way.
